Avant Garde Fabrics is a Canadian company formed in 1972 that knows how to think outside the box. With thousands of fabric choices, each collection has its own unique color palette and style. Their newest fall collection is no different. Taking one look at these beautiful fabrics, it is obvious that the teals, Kelly greens and mustard yellows may not be the typical colors you think of for this season, but they are exquisite nonetheless. These fabrics make a statement that is chic yet original. Avant Garde knows how to appeal to those who are looking for a less striking look as well, incorporating warm neutrals, pops of gray, and bits of indigo and navy into the collection.
The following are descriptions of each collection within Fall 2015 from Avant Garde:
“This collection includes a variety of lavish textures, drawings and exquisite prints for multiple usage and multiple spaces. A chameleon collection, Wave imposes a trendy style, according to the chosen color games.”
“From left to right, top to bottom, dark or light, electric or basic neutral you admire the movement… Zig Zag. No matter which direction you take the destination remains the same … Zig Zag.”
“Just as the work of a watercolor artist, the transparency of the photographic image does not limit the power of color and design within the Miro collection. This collection of digital prints on brushed cotton will become the centerpiece for the decor of your dreams.”
“Prestigious, captivating, sumptuous, absolutely sublime, the Penelope collection is an amalgamated collection of unique European upholstery fabrics. Jacquard velvets on a linen ground delicately intertwine the various colors and textures, creating dimension and depth. The solid co-ordinates express a nuance of shimmer and texture. The collections are complimented with paisley, floral and geometric motifs, multiple ombres, all elegant designs. The Penelope collection remains in a class of its own.”
