Linda Grant-Scott Design
I have been designing for more than 50 years, having started as a little girl. My first customers were my dolls.
Over the course of my career I spent 10 years in the garment industry, 15 years marketing for large furniture companies, and even owned a restaurant.
I have designed in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Arizona, and Southern California. My passion is residential design—I love my clients and creating designs for them.
The Design Challenge
Taking a sub-standard builder’s spec apartment and transforming it to an upscale envelope for a tastefully decorated home.
Create a comfortable contemporary environment to which my clients could come home from their global travels and enjoy treasures collected over the years.
It’s easier than you might think to take very current fabrics and mix them with decades-old hand-crafted furniture to create a modern environment honoring 40 years of great taste and a new palette to which they can add as they travel.
